Description Millbank House accommodation is on the edge of peak District National Park. Set in the most magnificent countryside, it is the perfect location to unwind. We are a family run Bed & Breakfast offering two tastefully furnished ensuite bedrooms, one Double and one Double/Twin/Family room. Situated close to the historic town of wirksworth. Centrally situated for many tourist attractions including Carsington water, Matlock, Chatsworth House Bakewell, Buxton, Crich Tramway Museum, 5 miles from Belper & 10 miles from Derby. Millbank House is centrally heated, whichever room you choose you have the most beautiful scenery (one room overlooks one of the fishing lakes) both are en-suite and have TV, radio, drink making facilities, towels, hairdryer, and your own key to come & go as you please. Both newly fitted bathrooms have electric showers, Wash basin & toilet one room also has a bath. Start your day at your own table in our stylish dining room. Choose from a selection of cereals, grapefruit segments or prunes with fruit juice followed by a cooked breakfast including bacon sausage local free range eggs mushrooms and tomatoes or if you prefer croissants and preserves, finally enjoy toast with preserves served with a choice of tea or cafetiere of coffee, all our produce is locally sourced if possible. Millbank House sits in the grounds of the family farm surrounded by open countryside. The farm is called Alton Manor Farm and is also Derbyshire Trout Fishery there are three lakes stocked with rainbow trout every week, so why not bring your fishing equipment, the perfect place to unwind with the magnificent views and tranquillity of the countryside or sit and relax in the garden which overlooks one of the lakes & enjoy the view.
