Description This delightful period House with pretty gardens is located in the beautiful village of Darley Bridge on the River Derwent. Close to Bakewell, Matlock and Chatsworth House, and on the doorstep of beautiful walking whether by the river or up in to the hills. Good Golfing is on the doorstep at Matlock (18 holes) Walton Chesterfield (18 holes), or for something more challenging there is the wonderful hillside course at Bakewell with magnificent views and wonderful catering. This exclusive accommodation is self contained and has a separate access to guarantee your privacy and comprises of a large comfortable double bedroom with antique furniture plus a sitting room with accommodation for a child. Plus en suite bathroom. TV, hairdryers small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities are all provided plus access to the internet if required. There are many good eating establishments close by and for something special East Lodge and the Peacock at Rowsley are only 2 miles away. We also have 2 local pubs serving food in the village. I also provide plates knives and forks if you just fancy a local takeaway There is a private courtyard for you to sit in on a summers evening and enjoy a glass of wine. Breakfast is full English using locally sourced products, Homemade Jam and preserves, cereals yoghurts and homemade muffins, served in the main house or a continental breakfast can be taken in your room. All Dietary requirements can be catered for just let me know in advance of your stay. There is also a Chinese Healthcare clinic offering Acupuncture, Tui Na massage, cupping and cosmetic facial Acupuncture. Cost is £40 pppn Children under 5 are free.
