Ravencar Farm dates back to 1763. The Bed & Breakfast is a traditional, stone built, 2 storey barn conversion retaining many of its original characteristic features-- exposed oak beams,some interior stone walls and an open fire . Set within its own grounds, Ravencar Farm offers very secure parking, ( each guest will be furnished with their own remote control for the gate during their stay) .
An entrance, exclusively for guests use, opens into the reception hall and leads to the dining room, swimming pool,and a staircase which leads up to a galleried landing and the guest bedrooms. A bowl of fresh fruit and a tray of sweets are always on reception and are complimentary for guests. The Bed & Breakfast is also perfect for sole occupancy by one party and could sleep 8.
Proprietor Helen Fish has been looking after hotel guests for many years and believes the experience she gained from running her hotel in Scotland , means she can provide all the essential facilities and services to make your stay exceedingly comfortable and extremely pleasurable.
Accommodation
Ravencar Farm bed and breakfast has 3 tastefully presented bedrooms, Handley, Hollyberry and Ridgeway.
All have exposed beams and king post truss revealed in the pitched ceilings. Each of the 3 rooms boasts its own style and decor which extends into the bathrooms, 2, en-suite and 1 with private facilities.
All rooms are superbly equipped and offer
• Anti-allergy duvets and pillows- matching eiderdowns are stored in each wardrobe.
• Hostess tray with plentiful supply of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and quality biscuits.
• Mini fridge with fresh milk, complimentary mineral water and fruit juice.
• Mugs, cups, teapots, drinking glasses. Wine glasses and cork screw are available on the landing.

Bedroom 1.....Antique Pine furniture,cream leather settee,abundant wardrobe & drawer space, a four poster bed with plenty of room to add 2 further single beds making it ideal for the family. Views overlooking the stables and fields beyond. Private Bathroom downstairs with shower, toilet and basin; thick fluffy dressing gowns are provided
Hollyberry
Bedroom 2.....Classic, immaculate white furniture with gold soft furnishings. En-suite bathroom with a free standing, deep, roll top bath with claw feet and a victorian style mixer tap with shower head.......perfect for a long, hot, relaxing bath ...bath bubbles, fizzers and soaps are provided.
Ridgeway
Bedroom 3.....Contemporary style with black leather double bed and headboard, sofa and footstool. The room has one wall of glass blocks so is bathed in light. A glass walk-in shower gleaming white basin and toilet are complimented by stainless steel bathroom accessories and complete the feeling of total luxury
