Description Visit Britain 4-star guest accommodation. All four beautiful bedrooms at The Hayloft have been decorated to the highest standards of quality. They are finished to the highest standard with a solid oak floor, incorporating hand-made, local furniture and accessories, and have full en-suite facilities. The Stable bedroom Situated on the ground floor, it is a twin room and enjoys a wet-room style en-suite bathroom. Original features in the Stable bedroom include a cart horse door, which has the benefit of being a wide access door. Room facilities include: • tea/coffee maker • colour T.V • radio alarms • shaver-points • hairdryer available • easy chairs The Shippon bedroom The second ground floor bedroom is a king-size room and again has the wet-room en-suite. The Shippon bedroom enjoys a window which overlooks our Aberdeen Angus cows in the winter-time munching away contently in the distance. Room facilities include: • tea/coffee maker • colour T.V. • radio alarms • shaver-points • hair dryer available • easy chairs The Loft bedroom An upstairs room, accessed by a lovely stone stair-case (watch out for the pitch-fork in the rafters, out of harms way!) Step through the door into the Loft bedroom and enjoy the ambiance of exposed beams, imagine awaking from a blissful nights sleep in your king-size bed to see the daylight streaming through the loop-hole vents in the wall. This room is again decorated to the highest standards and is equipped with an en-suite shower room. Room facilities include: • tea/coffee maker • colour T.V. • radio alarms • shaver-points • hair dryer available • easy chairs The Shepherd's Rest bedroom The other upstairs king-size bedroom, in a similar style and finish to the Loft bedroom is called the Shepherd's Rest bedroom in recognition of the the many sheep that have been born in this building. The room again has an en-suite shower room and lovely original features. Room facilities include: • tea/coffee maker • colour T.V. • radio alarms • shaver-points • hair dryer available • easy chairs Breakfast Arrangements Guests can enjoy their breakfast in the adjoining dining area, with a lovely view towards the village. Our delicious breakfasts include local dry cured bacon, scrummy sausages and our own free range eggs. Amenities include:- • Full central heating (individually controlled) and double-glazing. • Arrival usually between 4-7pm  (unless by prior arrangement). • Parking • Outdoor seating in garden with delightful views looking over the village square. • Local evening meal booking service available. • Full Fire Safety Risk Assessment. • Drying Facilities/Cycle Storage. • Payment by cash/cheque or credit/switch cards. Caring for the Environment In restoring The Hayloft we have tried, wherever possible to respect our environment. We have designed the building to make best use of water, natural light and other resources and have re-used some traditional building materials. Many of our suppliers hold the Peak District Environmental Quality Mark, which can only be achieved by businesses who actively support the best environmental practices. We hope that our guests appreciate and support these aims which helps to conserve the National Park.
