Description Welcome to ‘The Old Barn’ holiday accommodation at Common End Farm, Swinscoe, Ashbourne. We are a family run Bed & Breakfast offering guest accommodation in a self-contained converted barn which is over 250 years old. The nature of the barn conversion also lends itself to be hired as a complete unit for those people who prefer greater flexibility and would like to hire The Barn on a self catering basis. We are located in a quiet beautiful corner of The Peak District National Park on The Derbyshire/Staffordshire border, 4 miles to The West of the picturesque market town of Ashbourne. Its location makes it an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding countryside.  For the more adventurous; Alton Towers is only a short drive and has everything to keep the children amused.  Carsington Water is another very popular local attraction and offers biking, a variety of water sports, nature trails and a visitor centre.
