Description ‘Undercliffe’, an attractive stone built house over a hundred years old, nestling under a low cliff on the edge of the village within a short walking distance of the village pub, Eyam Museum, church, Eyam Hall, tea shops and the famous plague cottages. The hosts Roger and Maggie offer a warm and friendly welcome to their home where you will receive all the usual B&B expectations plus more! You can park off road or you can be collected from the local station (Grindleford). You will receive a daily weather report with your breakfast which by the way includes eggs from our own hens, homemade bread; jam made at Eyam and other locally sourced produce. You can have breakfast as early or as late as you want and in winter months in front of a log fire. You could choose to take afternoon tea in the conservatory, or on the patio, or on the summer house veranda looking across the valley to the Alpacas opposite. You could choose to have an evening meal here or, we could drop you off at one of the many local eating establishments. We love and welcome dogs and children as well as walkers and cyclists. Washing, drying and ironing upon request and packed lunches too. The accommodation here offers a twin room with shower, wash basin, toilet, and flat screen TV. hairdryer and comprehensive welcome tray. Along the hall there is available a bath if required. We also have a single room with comprehensive welcome tray and bathroom facilities along the hall which includes a shower over bath, bidet, and toilet and hand basin. We will do all we can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our Tariff for 2011 Twin room £70 p.n. Single room £30 p.n. Evening meal from £10 p.p. (minimum 2 people) Packed lunch £5 Afternoon tea £4 Dogs £5 p.n. Bank holiday weekends minimum two nights stay. £20 deposit per night Cash or cheque only please.
